BusinessQR is built as a local-first QR code generator and scanner. Your QR data — scanned codes, created codes, and library items — is stored entirely on your device. We do not upload this data to our servers.
However, BusinessQR displays advertisements through Google AdMob to support development. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and what choices you have.
All QR codes you scan, create, or save in your Library remain on your device. We do not collect, store, or have access to:
Your business QR assets never leave your phone. They are stored in a local SQLite database inside the app. Uninstalling the app removes this data permanently.
BusinessQR uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display banner ads and app open ads. Google may collect and use data to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements.

BusinessQR requests the following permissions solely for app functionality:
These permissions are used only for the stated purposes. We do not use camera or photo access for any other reason, and we do not upload your media anywhere.
BusinessQR does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. There is no user authentication system and no user profiles are created.
BusinessQR does not use third-party analytics tools or crash reporting services. We do not track your behavior within the app, nor do we monitor which QR codes you scan or create.
Because your QR data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's own security measures (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device OS and security patches up to date.
BusinessQR is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through advertising interactions, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of BusinessQR after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
